Marc A. Burrell, M.D.
Professionally, he enjoys staying abreast of the latest literature, techniques, and technological advances to offer his patients the best treatment plan including innovative, evidenced-based therapies. From the initial clinic visit to post procedure follow-up, thorough chronic disease management, he provides respect, compassion, and empathy. Dr. Burrell’s expertise lies in image-guided minimally invasive procedures that provide pain relief with little down time. His vascular training allows him to skillfully treat and manage diseases such as peripheral arterial disease(PAD) and cancer, including tumor ablation. Kyphoplasty and vertebroplasty vertebral compression fracture procedures are also among the treatments in which Dr. Burrell specializes.
During his personal time, he enjoys golf, travel, fishing, weight lifting and watching Big Ten and Green Bay Packers football. Dr. Burrell shares his love of science, engineering, and medicine through volunteering with educational organizations. He attributes his compassion, patience and professional success to his family, who nurtured his curiosity and scientific drive. His mother spent her career in public special education and his father, a university sociologist, is an activist and educational leader.
