How do I prep for my surgery?
You will receive a call from the surgery center in the days leading up to your procedure to educate you regarding your upcoming visit.
What do I need to bring with me on the day of my surgery or procedure?
- Insurance card and driver's license
- Advanced Directive if you have one
- A current list of your medications or your medication bottles
What do facility fees cover?
A successful surgery depends on a team effort by several healthcare professionals, including the staff in our facility. However, because government and insurance rules do not permit us to bill or collect money for healthcare providers we do not employ - including several of the providers who may be associated with your procedure - each one must send their own bill and collect payment from you separately. Consequently, you will likely receive several different bills.  In addition to the facility bill, you may potentially receive a bill from anesthesia, pathology, laboratory, and your performing physician.
